Social media

LinkedIn content for construction and industry

Have LinkedIn content made from one recording: short videos for your own channels, also shared via the platforms of your sector.

What it gets you

What social does for you.

  1. Found.

    Back to the article.

Each post refers to the article on the platform, with video and podcast including the full transcript. That article remains available and is discoverable in Google. Social brings readers, the article keeps them.

  2. Known.

Among the followers of your platform.

Those who follow a platform's LinkedIn channel do so for the field. If we share your story there, it reaches precisely those professionals.

  3. Chosen.

    With images you place yourself.

You receive the files to place on your own channels, whenever it suits you. This way, your own LinkedIn has something to say every week.

What it is

What does having LinkedIn content made entail?

Having LinkedIn content made means we handle the recording and you receive the posts. From a company feature, project video or podcast episode, we create short videos of thirty to sixty seconds, portrait and landscape, with subtitles. You place these on your own company page and your employees share them on their profile.

Our trade editorial team makes the recording, at your own location, on the construction site or in our studio in Oostkamp. The editorial team writes daily about your sector and asks the questions your customer would ask.

The production also appears on the platform of your sector, in the newsletter and on the social media channels of that title. We do not manage your own channels: posting, responding and paid promotion remain with you.

Does this sound familiar?

For which companies is this intended?

For manufacturers, suppliers, contractors and installers who want to be visible on LinkedIn to skilled professionals, but do not have the time or material to post something every week. Four situations where it works well.

  • Your company page is inactive

There is enough to tell, but no one has time to film, edit and subtitle. One recording provides material for weeks, so you do not have to come up with something new every week.

  • You have a project to showcase

A completed building, a new production line or a challenging assembly. In a project video, the client, architect or contractor themselves explain how your product is applied.

  • Your specialist has something to say

In a trade podcast or expert interview, your specialist explains how something works. If you also record the conversation on video, you will receive clips for LinkedIn.

  • You are at a trade fair or event

At De Bouwtop, De Infratop or Meet the Architect, we film your participation. You receive a report and short clips for LinkedIn, both portrait and landscape.

Where you appear

Through which platforms is your story shared?

Your production appears on the platform of your sector, in the newsletter and on the social media channels of that title. This way, you reach professionals who do not yet follow you. For each sector you see three titles.

What you can use

What does one recording deliver?

A production is the basis. From it come the files you use on LinkedIn, plus the placement on the platform. How a video is created can be read on the page about video.

The full video

A company feature or project video of two to four minutes, or an aftermovie of about one and a half minutes, for your website and your company page.

Short clips

Clips of thirty to sixty seconds, portrait and landscape, each with one message that you can post separately.

Subtitles

The final version gets subtitles, so the video can be followed without sound. You approve it before it goes online.

Podcast clips

If you also record a podcast conversation on video, we cut clips for LinkedIn from it.

A page on the platform

The video or episode gets its own page on the platform of your sector. You put that link in your post, and the page remains discoverable in Google.

Usage rights

You use the final files and clips unlimited on your website, LinkedIn, exhibition stand and in presentations. We arrange licences for music and images.

This is how a podcast works in your sector

Formats

Portrait or landscape: which format fits on LinkedIn?

Both. Landscape fits the video on your website, in a presentation and on a large screen. Portrait fills the screen of a phone, where many people scroll through their timeline. From the same recording, we make both formats, so you choose per message.

Subtitles are standard, because videos on LinkedIn are often watched without sound. A clip must therefore make clear in the first seconds what it is about, even if no one turns on the sound. These stills come from the film we made for Engels Group: landscape with subtitles, and portrait cropped for the phone.

How it works

How does a production work?

From the first conversation to your first post. We respond to your query within one working day.

  1. 1Step 1

    Briefing and script

You explain what your followers need to understand. We write the outline, the questions and the shot list and plan the recording.

  2. 2Step 2

    Recording

Our team films at your location, on the construction site or in the studio. You arrange access, the people who will speak and the safety instructions.

  3. 3Step 3

    Editing and approval

You see a first version, provide corrections and approve the final version and the clips, including subtitles.

  4. 4Step 4

    Publication and files

The production appears on the platform, in the newsletter and on the socials of the title. You receive the files and the viewing figures and post the clips on your own channels.

Comparison

Do it yourself, an agency or Louwers Mediagroep: what suits you?

Three ways to get LinkedIn content, each with a different distribution of work and reach.

Louwers Mediagroep

Who makes the content. An editorial team with its own video and podcast crew

Knowledge of your field. The editorial team writes daily about your sector

Reach beyond your own followers. Website, newsletter and socials of the platforms in your sector

Managing your channels. Not included: you post and respond

Time it costs you. A briefing, the recording and the approval

Do it yourself

Who makes the content. Your own people, usually alongside their regular work

Knowledge of your field. Great: no one knows your product better

Reach beyond your own followers. Your own network and that of your employees

Managing your channels. With you

Time it costs you. Ongoing: conceptualising, filming, editing and posting

Social media agency

Who makes the content. An agency, often as a monthly package

Knowledge of your field. Varies per agency

Reach beyond your own followers. Your own channels, possibly with paid advertisements

Managing your channels. Often included

Time it costs you. Coordination and approval per period

The routes are not mutually exclusive: you can outsource production and continue to do the posting yourself. If you want a production to also generate enquiries, read how lead generation via trade media works.

What determines the price

What does it cost to have LinkedIn content made?

There is no fixed price, as no production is the same. A series of clips from an existing recording requires less work than a new shooting day on the construction site. After a short conversation, you will receive a tailored proposal. If you first want to see which platforms, podcasts and formats are available per sector, request the media kit 2027.

  • The type of production

Company feature, project video, expert interview, podcast or event video.

  • Filming days and locations

One location or multiple, in the studio or on the construction site.

  • The number of clips

How many short cuts you want, and in which formats.

  • Existing or new material

Clips from an existing recording or a new production.

  • Distribution

On which platforms, newsletters and socials the production appears.

  • Combination with print or events

A feature in the trade magazine or a spot at an event as well.

Questions about LinkedIn content

Is your question not listed? Call us or ask it via the contact form.

Do you also manage our LinkedIn page?

No. We create the content and deliver the files. You handle posting, responding and paid promotion on your own channels, ensuring tone and timing remain with you. However, we do share the production through the channels of the platform where it appears.

How many posts does one recording produce?

That depends on the production. A video provides multiple clips of thirty to sixty seconds alongside the full version, while a podcast conversation on video results in a series of short pieces. You agree on the number of clips in the proposal.

Portrait or landscape: which works better on LinkedIn?

Both work. Portrait fills a phone screen, landscape fits better on your website and in presentations. We create both formats from one recording, allowing you to choose per message.

Are the videos subtitled?

Yes. You approve the final version including subtitles. This is necessary as videos on LinkedIn are often viewed without sound.

Can I also use the videos on my website and exhibition stand?

Yes. You can use the final files and clips unlimited on your website, LinkedIn, exhibition stand and in presentations. We arrange licences for music and images. For podcast clips, you mention the platform as the source.

Where is filming done?

At your own location, on the construction site or in the factory, or in our studio in Oostkamp. Ensure machines are running or work is in progress on the filming day: a stationary location results in dull footage.

What does it cost to have LinkedIn content made?

That depends on the type of production, the number of recording days and clips, and the distribution. We do not quote a standard price; you receive a tailored proposal. The possibilities per platform are in the media kit 2027.

Why through Louwers Mediagroep and not a social media agency?

Because our editorial team knows your sector and your production also reaches the platform's readers, beyond your own followers. If you need someone to manage your channels daily, a social media agency is more suitable. We do not offer that.

Start with one recording

One video or podcast recording produces content for weeks. In an introduction, we discuss which production suits your company.
